1. Who We Are

Pauperizer is a hobby site for a local Pauper (Magic: The Gathering) league based in Poland. It is operated by a private individual, not a company. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact the operator directly through the league.

This policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Polish law.

2. What Data We Collect

Match and attendance data

We record match results (wins, losses, draws), deck archetypes, and attendance responses (yes / maybe / no) for each league session. This data is the core purpose of the site.

Player names

By default, player names are not displayed. Each player is assigned a persistent pseudonym. A real name or chosen display name is only stored and shown where the player has given explicit consent. No name data is collected from visitors browsing the site.

Server logs

Our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard access logs: IP address, request path, HTTP method, response status, and timestamp. These are retained for a short operational period (typically up to 30 days) and are not used for profiling or shared with third parties.

3. What We Do Not Collect

  • No tracking or advertising cookies
  • No third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • No email addresses or contact details (unless provided directly to the operator)
  • No payment information — the site is free and has no transactions
  • No device fingerprinting or behavioural tracking

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Match results and attendance data are processed on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, the operation of a local sports/hobby league that participants have joined voluntarily.

Display names shown in place of pseudonyms are processed solely on the basis of the player's explicit consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

Server logs are retained on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining site security and diagnosing operational issues.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with any third parties for commercial purposes.

The site is hosted on infrastructure operated by a third-party hosting provider. That provider may process server logs as part of delivering the hosting service. No personal data beyond standard server logs is shared with the hosting provider.

6. Data Retention

League results and attendance history are kept for the lifetime of the site — they form the historical record of the league. Pseudonymised data (no real names attached) may be retained indefinitely.

Where a real name or display name has been stored with consent, it will be removed promptly upon withdrawal of that consent. The underlying pseudonymised record remains.

Server logs are deleted after approximately 30 days.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under EU/Polish law, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of personal data (subject to legitimate interest grounds)
  • Restriction — ask us to limit processing of your data
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, for any consent-based processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact the operator directly through the league. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych — uodo.gov.pl).

8. Cookies

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. a session cookie if authentication is added in the future) may be set solely to make the site function. No consent banner is required for strictly necessary cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the site evolves (e.g. if user accounts are introduced). The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be communicated to active league participants.
